TimeShip Skate School in Santa Fe, NM is announcing a series of 3 day Summer Camps.   Explore downhill, slalom, ditch, push and park racing.   Let Timeship Racing teach you the basics or help you improve your racing skills.   Get the edge that will help get you to the podium!

Our 2013 Race Camps are for Level 2 riders who have mastered the basics like pushing, foot placement, carving turns and foot braking and are ready to advance to learning hand sliding, drafting & pack riding.

Our Race Camps are small, unique and focused on helping you to set goals and achieve them. Ride with our team, enjoy ramp sessions every night, take advantage of Skate School's extensive video library and museum of skateboard racing history. Camp on the Ramp or stay at a nearby motel.

Camp ends with your very own homework which helps you continue to improve for months to come. Camp runs 9am to 4pm each day and campers bring their own lunch. Age limit is 13 & up.

Cost is $299 per person.

• June 28 - 30
• July 15 - 17
• July 29 - 31

At Timeship Race Camp you will learn:

• How to go fast and safely control your speed
• Several ways to slow down & 4 ways to stop up to 50mph.
• Pushing with both legs, foot braking & symmetry.
• Hand sliding & wheel sliding and the relationship of the two.
• Power pushing, tuck forms, and aerodynamics.
• Tactics of drafting, passing and cornering.
• High Speed Safety Skills.
• The difference between falling and crashing.
• Racing strategy
• Point and shoot drafting & twisty tech turns.
